Michigan Industry Led Collaborative Expanding the Direct Care Workforce Across Michigan

The MICA Direct Care Workforce Expansion Collaborative is a statewide, employer-led initiative to address direct care worker (DCW) recruitment and retention challenges. IMPART Alliance, with support from the state department of Labor and Economic Opportunities (LEO) has convened more than 35 Collaborative Members and Partners including MI Works! Agencies, education and training institutions, professional associations, government, and other stakeholders from across the state.  The primary goal is to develop shared solutions to filling the talent gap in direct care using the Collaborative, Talent Pipeline Management (TPM) and Business Solutions Professionals (BSP) approaches, and talent supply chain strategies and practices.
