IMPART Alliance collaborates with RS&GIS at Michigan State University to advance geospatial and data-driven approaches to direct care workforce research. This partnership integrates spatial analysis, secure data infrastructure, and innovative research tools into IMPART’s applied policy research. Together, IMPART and RS&GIS enhance the analytical capacity needed to examine workforce distribution, service access, and system-level gaps across Michigan.
FIRE
The IMPART Alliance partners with the Foundry for Innovative Research and Education (FIRE) at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine to connect students with hands-on, community-engaged research opportunities. This collaboration aligns student intake, mentoring, and placement to support applied research in health and workforce policy while strengthening pathways to faculty mentorship, real-world projects, and research dissemination.
