Chris Wierenga is the career development systems coordinator at IMPART Alliance. He is a Michigan State University alum with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Higher, Adult and Lifelong Education. He has also been commissioned as an Air Force officer.
He has an extensive background in personnel and process management at both a private industry setting and in higher education.
Wierenga spent time as a caregiver in an adult foster home during college and developed a deep appreciation for the direct-care workforce. His role at IMPART Alliance allows IMPART Alliance to do its part in strengthening the direct-care workforce to ensure high-quality care throughout Michigan.
