Kathryn Becker is the Office Assistant for the and Marketing division at IMPART Alliance, a role she has held since January 2025. In this position, she supports the organization’s marketing initiatives, communications efforts, and administrative coordination, drawing on more than two decades of experience across design, operations, and workforce development.
Becker earned her degree in Graphic Design from the University of Michigan, launching her career as a Project Manager for a large marketing firm in Ann Arbor. She later transitioned into operations and product management roles for a major clothing company, where she gained extensive experience in process design, brand strategy, and cross-functional leadership.
After nearly twenty years in the private sector, Becker shifted to the nonprofit world as an executive assistant, focusing her efforts on initiatives that recruit and support underrepresented groups in the workforce. This experience solidified her commitment to mission-driven work and prepared her for her current position at IMPART Alliance.
Outside of IMPART, Becker is both a dedicated mother and a small business owner, operating an LLC centered on honeybee-related work, a reflection of her lifelong passion for nature and sustainability.
Her enthusiasm for supporting the direct care workforce stems from a deep belief in the power of meaningful work to transform lives. She sees IMPART’s greatest impact in its ability to elevate the voices and recognition of those providing essential care across Michigan.
“What drives me most is seeing the tangible success of our work and how it improves the lives of so many people,” Becker says. “Every story of progress and empowerment keeps me inspired.”
Becker envisions a future where direct care work is fully integrated into the healthcare system, valued alongside other clinical professions for its skill, empathy, and indispensable contribution to care. For her, the most rewarding part of her career has always been the people—those she collaborates with and those whose lives are touched by her work.
